Fake Female ASP Arrested in Lahore for Impersonation

A young woman was arrested on Sunday after attempting to pose as an assistant superintendent of police (ASP) at the Lahore capital city police officer (CCPO)‘s office. The woman, a resident of DHA Phase 5, entered the premises dressed in a police uniform and initially received protocol from security personnel.

However, suspicions arose when she requested a meeting with the CCPO and demanded that he come out of his office. Security personnel became more doubtful when they noticed she was wearing “fancy shoes”, which are not part of the official police uniform.

When questioned, the woman failed to provide any identification or documentation to support her claims. It was quickly discovered that she was impersonating a police officer. The Civil Lines police were called, and she was taken into custody. A First Information Report (FIR) was registered against her for impersonating an officer.
