Sadly, Sachin succumbed to his injuries about an hour later, with authorities noting that he had sustained two stab wounds to his back. According to Gupta, the incident occurred in plain view of the public.

Investigations revealed that Sachin and a friend were returning home after purchasing the phone when they encountered the three boys, who demanded a treat to celebrate. When Sachin refused, an argument broke out, leading to the stabbing.

A case has been registered at the Shakarpur police station under sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the BNS. The police used CCTV footage to identify the suspects, who were apprehended in the vicinity on Tuesday. Additionally, a dagger believed to have been used in the murder has been recovered from the accused.
