Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in London on Saturday for a two-day stopover en route to the United States, where he will attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York from September 23 to 27. After arriving at Heathrow Airport, he proceeded to his apartment near Edgware Road in central London.
According to the Foreign Office, the Prime Minister will hold meetings with various global leaders, including the UN Secretary-General and the President of the General Assembly. His agenda will focus on critical global issues, such as climate change, rising sea levels, and Islamophobia. Additionally, he will call for reforms to the international financial structure and advocate for the resolution of longstanding conflicts, including the Palestine and Jammu & Kashmir disputes.
