The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) officials, in their recent statement on National Minorities Day, honored the contributions of minorities to the nation’s development and prosperity.
FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh emphasized in his message that Pakistan’s Constitution fully safeguards minority rights. He stated that peace, stability, and interfaith unity in the country are only possible through harmony, echoing the vision of Pakistan’s founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who declared minorities as equal citizens in his speech on August 11, 1947. Sheikh reiterated that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah aspired to make Pakistan a great nation.

Chairman of the Capital Office, Karim Aziz Malik, affirmed that minorities in Pakistan feel secure and that Pakistanis follow the principles laid out by Quaid-e-Azam Jinnah. He noted that National Minorities Day is observed on August 11 each year, in line with Jinnah’s historic speech.
Vice President FPCCI Tariq Jadoon highlighted that minorities in Pakistan enjoy full religious freedom and that both the government and the people of Pakistan are committed to protecting their rights.
Chairman of Coordination Capital Office, Malik Sohail, pointed out that Pakistan has enacted exemplary legislation concerning minority rights, and National Minorities Day is celebrated with great significance across the country.
