The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has lifted the ban on recruitment across the province. KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur approved the lifting of the recruitment ban, which had been in place since March 2. A notification confirming this decision has been issued.
When PTI assumed power on February 8, Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur initially imposed a ban on all types of recruitment, with exceptions for cases already under process in the Provincial Public Services Commission (PPSC). Additionally, the chief minister had requested details of all recruitments made between February 1 and February 29, 2023, to be submitted to his office within a week.

This recent decision to lift the ban will allow the KP government to proceed with new recruitment processes, addressing various staffing needs across the province.
