The UAE revises visa fees for Pakistani nationals

The UAE has announced updated visit visa fees for Pakistani nationals, effective immediately, as part of its efforts to streamline entry procedures for tourists and visitors.

Starting in June 2024, the fee for a 30-day tourist visa will be AED 200, while the 60-day visa will cost AED 300, with an additional 5% value-added tax (VAT) applied to both.

Additional Charges

Applicants already within the UAE seeking to obtain or extend their visa will incur supplementary charges. These include Knowledge and Innovation Dirham fees totaling AED 20, along with an in-country processing fee of AED 500.

Application Procedure

To apply for a visit visa, applicants must submit the following:

  • A personal photo
  • A copy of their passport
  • A national identity card (for specified nationalities)
  • Valid UAE medical insurance
  • Proof of onward or return travel

Applications can be submitted via the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) website or through its smart application.

The UAE aims to boost its tourism sector by simplifying visa procedures and ensuring transparency in fee structures, maintaining its position as a leading travel destination in the Gulf region.
