Engro Fertilizers' EnVen plant restarts production after a 54-day hiatus

Engro Fertilizers Limited (PSX: EFERT) successfully completed scheduled maintenance activities aimed at ensuring the long-term reliability and sustainable operation of its EnVen Plant (Plant-II), as reported to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Thursday.

The EnVen Plant resumed its commercial operations on June 18, 2024, at 08:30 PM, following a period of maintenance that commenced on April 21, 2024. Initially planned for a 54-day closure until June 14, the maintenance activities were crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards.

Engro Fertilizers is actively involved in the manufacturing, procurement, and marketing of fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, and provides logistical services to support agricultural needs. As of the latest stock filing, Engro Fertilizers’ stock price on the exchange stood at Rs. 166.95, reflecting a 0.89 percent increase of Rs. 1.48, with a trading volume of 195,768 shares on Thursday.
