Seven Security Personnel Martyred, Two Wounded In Waziristan Attacks

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]In the northwestern region of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan, at least seven security personnel were killed and two others injured in two separate militant assaults.

According to a Dawn report, the initial attack occurred in the Hassan Khel area of Tehsil Datta Khel. Here, an improvised explosive device targeted a bomb disposal unit, leading to a firefight between security forces and militants. This clash resulted in the deaths of five security personnel and injuries to two others.

The second incident took place in the Seeman area of Mir Ali, where two security personnel were martyred. Militants ambushed a security post amidst a surge in attacks.

The bodies of the martyred personnel and the injured were airlifted to the Combined Military Hospital in Bannu.

Security forces swiftly cordoned off the affected areas and initiated search operations to apprehend the assailants.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
