The study, conducted by the online gaming platform Spin Casino, examined customer ratings for five prominent international fast-food chains—McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, Subway, and Starbucks—in cities across continents.
Fast food enthusiasts in Pakistan, particularly Karachi, gave the service an impressive average rating of 4.32 out of 5. The report highlighted the high regard for local and cultural etiquette in Pakistan, emphasizing how workers exemplified the translation of good customer service into a great customer experience.

The statement issued by Spin Casino on Friday remarked, “As we continue to see more fast food chains pop up in every town and city, ‘quick bite’ restaurant employees in Pakistan have been named as the fourth friendliest in the world.” The research focused on capital cities with these fast-food chains and examined customer experiences, encompassing overall service satisfaction.
Ironically, Washington D.C., the capital of the United States, secured the 68th place with a rating of 3.63 out of 5, while London received an even lower rating of 3.58, placing it in 71st position. The report suggested that the low ratings for these cities could be attributed to the numerous outlets requiring an extensive staff presence to manage customer interactions.
The top 10 cities with the friendliest fast-food workers globally, according to the ranking, are as follows:
1. Jakarta, Indonesia
