Attorney Clive Stafford Smith informed Geo News that the Pakistani government is aware of these incidents, with Siddiqui herself informing him. A complaint regarding the sexual assault has been officially lodged.

Smith further disclosed that Dr. Aafia Siddiqui had also been subjected to rape as part of a coercive interrogation technique while in Afghanistan’s Bagram jail.

In a meeting on Monday at a prison hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, Aafia Siddiqui had her second encounter with her sister Fowzia in 20 years. The meeting, lasting over 40 minutes, included the presence of Senator Talha Mahmood and Aafia Siddiqui’s lawyer.

Notably, Dr. Fowzia’s planned meetings with Aafia Siddiqui on December 2 and 3 were denied, as authorities claimed to have ‘lost’ the key to the prison.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
