DUBAI – Emirates, the renowned airline, declared the suspension of all flights to and from Tel Aviv, Israel, according to an official press release on Friday. The airline stated that they were closely monitoring the situation in Israel and maintaining close contact with relevant authorities.

Emirates emphasized that customers with onward connections to Tel Aviv on their flights would not be accepted for travel at their point of origin until further notice. Affected customers were directed to contact their booking agents for alternatives, refunds, cancellations, or rebooking of flight itineraries.

The airline urged customers to ensure their contact details are correct for updates by visiting Manage Your Booking.

Several airlines, including Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Swiss Air, Turkish Airlines, and Wizz Air, had previously suspended operations to Israel amid the October conflict. Wizz Air diverted multiple flights en route to Israel, and the severity of the situation prompted the U.S. State Department to issue an urgent security alert for Israel, advising U.S. citizens to remain vigilant.

Despite the Emirates’ suspension, the region seems to be returning to normalcy with an agreement signed between the conflicting sides, ensuring a four-day pause in fighting and an exchange of captives and prisoners.
