Thailand Enforces 10-Year Travel Ban On Chinese Beggar

Multiple Chinese nationals apprehended for begging in Bangkok streets have received a ten-year ban from returning to Thailand. The beggars, numbering six, were fined and one has already been deported.

They targeted crowded tourist areas, claiming disfigurements to elicit sympathy and financial support. Some falsely cited a lack of funds to return home. While Thailand aims to attract Chinese tourists with visa-free policies, it remains vigilant against exploitation.
