FBR Transferred Senior Officials in a Big Reshuffle

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has carried out the transfer and appointment of 33 senior officials from the Inland Revenue Service, including Chief Commissioners and Commissioners Inland Revenue Appeals.

According to an official notification issued by the FBR, this reshuffling involves the immediate transfer and appointment of 33 officers ranging from grades BS-19 to BS-21, with the changes remaining in effect until further notice.

Sheikh Zahid Masood, belonging to the Inland Revenue Service with a BS-20 ranking, has been relocated to assume the position of Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue at the Corporate Tax Office in Karachi.

Muhammad Azhar Ansari, another Inland Revenue Service officer with a BS-20 designation, has been assigned new responsibilities as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue at the Regional Tax Office in Quetta. Dr. Muhammad Sarmad Qureshi, holding the BS-21 rank within the Inland Revenue Service, has been appointed as the Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue at the Regional Tax Office in Sahiwal.

Laila Ghafoor, also a member of the Inland Revenue Service with a BS-20 ranking, has been reassigned as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue at the Regional Tax Office in Bahawalpur. Meanwhile, Najeeb Ahmad Memon, a BS-20 officer from the Inland Revenue Service, has been appointed as a Member of the FBR.
