[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Obaid ur Rahman, a visual artist from Karachi, has wowed audiences with his breathtaking artwork, which demonstrates amazing inventiveness and expert technique. Obaid has long been known for his love of colour and ability to produce masterpieces. He has established himself as a pioneer in 3D and anamorphic art in Pakistan, and he just created the country’s first 4D painting.

Obaid noted in a recent interview that his own works are primarily experimental, since he experiments with numerous materials, surfaces, and technology to build his distinct artistic style.

His journey as an artist began unexpectedly when he discovered his aptitude for 3D art while sketching on his home’s walls and rooftops. Inspired by his discoveries, he chose to broaden his art, which led to multiple exhibitions in Pakistan and abroad.

Obaid is completely self-taught, emphasising that this art form is not formally taught anywhere in the world. During his learning process, he studied extensively on the subject and received help from American artist Tracy Lee Stum. Obaid thanked his family for their consistent support, complimenting them with allowing him to pursue his love as a job.

Anamorphic art, one of Obaid’s specialties, delivers an interactive experience by allowing spectators to interact with the artwork and even become a part of it through their interactions or positions.

Some of his favourite works, according to the artist, include his first public 3D/anamorphic creation, a multi-perspective artwork in the corner of his room, and a piece he created for the Street Art Festival in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, where he aimed to positively represent Pakistan on the global stage.

Obaid ur Rahman’s creative approach to art continues to inspire and touch audiences both locally and globally. He remains a leader in the field of 3D and anamorphic art, proudly exhibiting Pakistan’s artistic brilliance to the globe, thanks to his boundless inventiveness and dedication.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
