The father, Hassan, tried to chase the cat away to save their son but was unsuccessful, resulting in the tragic incident.Hassan revealed that the cat had been a frequent visitor near their home since the birth of their twins, Rihan and Alshifa, and they had previously attempted to scare it away.

Local authorities, including the Station House Officer (SHO) of Usawan Police Station, confirmed the unfortunate death of the baby.
This incident is not the first time animals have been involved in fatal encounters with babies in India. In 2018, a similar tragedy occurred in Runkata town near Agra, where a monkey snatched a 12-day-old infant from his mother and killed him.
