[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]According to a recent report, the upcoming Apple iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are anticipated to face limited availability after their September launch. The shortage is attributed to screen production challenges at LG Display.

The issue arises from a new manufacturing process aimed at reducing bezel size, which has caused reliability problems during the fusion of the display to the metal shell. To address this, Apple is making modifications to the design of LG-produced displays to pass the tests. However, they also have Samsung-manufactured displays available as a backup for assembly.

As a result of these complications, it is expected that there will be a limited number of units available at the launch, with the iPhone 15 Pro Max likely to be the most difficult to acquire, closely followed by the Pro model.

Contrary to earlier reports suggesting a possible launch delay, this new source emphasizes the scarcity hypothesis as the reason behind the constrained supply issue. Nonetheless, it is evident that display-related challenges are impacting Apple’s launch plans.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
