Block lost, stolen, snatched mobile phones

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]If your mobile phone has been lost, stolen, or snatched, file a complaint with PTA to have it blocked through the Lost/ Stolen Device System (LSDS) using the following methods:

  • https://complaint.pta.gov.pk/RegisterComplaint.aspx
  • PTA CMS Mobile App (Android/iOS)

How Do I Check the Status of My Phone/IMEI?

  • The status of blocking/unblocking can be checked after 24 hours through following ways:
  • SMS: Type IMEI and SMS to 8484
  • Website: https://www.dirbs.pta.gov.pk/
  • Android App: Device Verification System (DVS)

If your mobile handset has been recovered and you desire to unblock it, go to the PTA CMS weblink or mobile app and supply the necessary information, as well as the Previous Complaint Reference No./Tracking ID provided to you at the time of blocking request, for the unblocking to be processed.

The PTA’s mandate is confined to phone blocking. Local police may be contacted in order to trace/track a stolen phone.
