The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGIP) has announced a special facility for citizens waiting to collect their ready passports.
Passport delivery counters across Pakistan will remain open every Saturday for the next two months. The initiative aims to make passport collection easier for applicants.
According to the announcement, the counters will operate from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday. Citizens will be able to collect their ready passports outside regular office hours.
The facility is particularly useful for applicants who cannot visit passport offices during normal working hours. Citizens will now have an additional opportunity to receive their documents on weekends.
The DG Immigration and Passports has advised applicants to collect their ready passports without unnecessary delay. The department has also urged citizens to use the Saturday facility if needed.
