GTA 6 Extended Look Coming to Netflix and YouTube

GTA 6 is preparing for another major official presentation from Rockstar Games. The showcase is titled GTA 6: An Extended Look.

The presentation will premiere on Netflix before becoming available for free on YouTube. Pakistani viewers can watch the Netflix premiere at 12:00 AM PKT on August 28.

Netflix subscribers will receive six hours of early access to the presentation. Rockstar Games will then publish the showcase on its official YouTube channel.

The presentation will also be available through the official GTA 6 website. The free release is scheduled for 6:00 AM PKT on August 28.

The upcoming showcase follows months of unauthorized leaks involving GTA 6. The leaks have reportedly revealed sections of the Leonida map and previously unseen gameplay.

What Could Rockstar Reveal?

Rockstar Games has not confirmed what the Extended Look will contain. The studio has only described it as a larger official look at the game.

Netflix has referred to the presentation as an “extended first look.” This description has led to widespread speculation among fans.

Some players expect Rockstar to reveal substantial official gameplay. Others believe the company could finally release the third GTA 6 trailer.

However, Rockstar has not confirmed either possibility. The exact content of the presentation remains unknown.

The Netflix partnership is also unusual for a gaming reveal. Netflix described the collaboration as a first-of-its-kind partnership with Rockstar Games.

GTA 6 Extended Look Schedule

The presentation will have separate release times for Netflix and YouTube. Pakistani viewers with Netflix can watch it from midnight on August 28.

The free YouTube release will follow at 6:00 AM PKT. This means viewers without Netflix only need to wait six hours.

Rockstar will also publish the presentation through the official GTA 6 website. This will give fans multiple ways to watch the full showcase.

The early access period gives Netflix subscribers a temporary advantage. The wider public will then receive access through Rockstar’s free online release.

Physical GTA 6 Edition Will Have No Disc

Rockstar has also confirmed an unusual physical release format for GTA 6. The physical edition will not contain a traditional game disc.

Instead, buyers will receive a box containing a digital download code. The physical version is scheduled to become available on November 12.

Players will be able to redeem the code and preload the game before launch. The decision has sparked discussion among fans about physical game ownership.

Continued GTA 6 Leak Controversy

The upcoming showcase comes while Rockstar continues dealing with unauthorized GTA 6 leaks. An anonymous individual or group known as Cyberleek has claimed responsibility for some activity.

Cyberleek has released a manifesto criticizing digital practices in the gaming industry. Its demands include ending digital preorders.

The group also wants publishers to avoid separate charges for single-player content. It has also called for offline access after online services are discontinued.

Cyberleek has threatened further disruption until publishers address its demands. Its campaign focuses on broader digital ownership and game preservation issues.

Despite these controversies, the GTA 6 release schedule remains unchanged. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026.
