NCA Lahore to Host Bowling Development Camp

The National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore is set to host a bowling development camp aimed at improving the skills and performance of emerging and established bowlers.

The first phase of the camp will begin on August 24 and continue until August 28, with 12 fast bowlers invited to participate. A separate spin bowling camp will then be held from August 31 to September 4, featuring eight spinners.

The participating bowlers will work on their technical and bowling skills under the supervision of Pakistan’s national white-ball coaches and NCA coaching staff.

12 Fast Bowlers Invited

The fast-bowling phase will feature Razaullah, Muhammad Salman, Qayyum Khan, Abdul Subhan, Abuzar, Imran Junior, Imran Randhawa, Salman Mirza, Ahmed Daniyal, Aaqib Javed, Mohammad Hasnain and Faheem Ashraf.

The five-day camp will provide the fast bowlers with an opportunity to work closely with national-level coaches and improve different aspects of their bowling.

Eight Spinners to Attend Second Phase

The second phase of the programme will focus on spin bowling and will run from August 31 to September 4.

Mehran Mumtaz, Mubsir Khan, Saad Masood, Faisal Akram, Arafat Minhas, Abrar Ahmed, Danish Aziz and Mohammad Nawaz have been invited for the spin camp.

The programme is part of efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s bowling resources and provide players with specialised coaching and development opportunities.

With both fast bowlers and spinners receiving dedicated training, the NCA camp is expected to help players refine their skills under the guidance of the national white-ball coaching setup.
