Saudi Falcon Vision Group Eyes $10 Billion Investment in Pakistan

Saudi Arabia’s Falcon Vision Group has expressed interest in investing up to $10 Billion in Pakistan. The proposed investment would target key sectors, including infrastructure, construction, technology, industrial development, and real estate.

The proposal was discussed during a meeting between Board of Investment (BOI) Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh and a high-level delegation from Falcon Vision Group. The delegation was led by the company’s Vice Chairman and President, Muhammad Tariq Ghaus.

During the meeting, the delegation informed the minister that Saudi investors are exploring major business opportunities in Pakistan. If approved, the $10 Billion investment could support several large-scale development projects across different sectors of the economy.

Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh welcomed the interest shown by the Saudi delegation. He assured the investors that the government would provide full support to facilitate their investment plans and help create a favorable business environment.

The minister highlighted several incentives available under Pakistan’s current investment policy. These incentives are designed to attract foreign investors and encourage long-term economic partnerships.

He said businesses operating in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) can benefit from income tax exemptions until 2035. Investors are also eligible for duty concessions on imported machinery required for approved projects.

The government also offers a one-window facilitation system, allowing investors to complete many administrative procedures through a single platform. This system is intended to reduce delays and simplify the investment process.

In addition, Pakistan allows foreign investors to repatriate 100 percent of their profits, making the country more attractive for international businesses looking for stable investment opportunities.

During the meeting, the minister also discussed the government’s efforts to improve the business climate. He said authorities are working to remove barriers that affect investment, including challenges related to energy and infrastructure.

The Falcon Vision Group delegation also discussed plans related to technology zones and real estate development. These sectors are expected to play an important role if the proposed $10 Billion investment moves forward.

The planned investment reflects the growing economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Both countries have been working to strengthen trade, investment, and business partnerships in recent years.

Large-scale foreign investment can contribute to economic growth by supporting infrastructure projects, creating new employment opportunities, and encouraging technology transfer. It can also help improve industrial capacity and attract additional international investors.

Although no final investment agreement has been announced, the discussions indicate strong interest from Saudi investors in expanding their presence in Pakistan. Both sides are expected to continue talks to explore suitable projects and investment opportunities.
