Gold prices in Pakistan remained stable on Friday after a sharp decline recorded in the previous trading session, reflecting continued weakness in both local and international bullion markets.
According to the latest market rates, the price of 24-karat gold per tola stood at Rs427,436, while the rate for 10 grams of 24K gold remained at Rs366,457.

The latest prices follow a significant drop on Thursday, when the local market saw gold prices fall by Rs4,600 per tola. During the same session, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs3,944, highlighting the ongoing pressure on the precious metal.
Current market rates show 22-karat gold priced at Rs393,708 per tola, while 21-karat gold is available at Rs375,812 per tola. Meanwhile, 18-karat gold is trading at Rs322,125 per tola.
On the international market, gold prices slipped by $46 per ounce, bringing the global rate down to $4,050 per ounce, including a premium of $20. Analysts believe the movement in Pakistan’s gold market continues to mirror global trends, making international price fluctuations a key factor in determining local rates.
Silver prices also moved lower alongside gold. The price of silver per tola declined by Rs61, settling at Rs6,370. The decrease reflects the broader correction seen across precious metals in global trading.
Financial experts say the direction of gold prices in Pakistan will largely depend on international economic developments, including inflation expectations, central bank policies, and investor demand for safe-haven assets. Any major changes in global markets could directly influence local bullion prices in the coming days.
Investors and buyers are expected to keep a close watch on international market movements, as these remain the primary driver of gold and silver prices in Pakistan.
