The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched version 5.6.8 of its Pak ID mobile application, bringing new digital vehicle-related services for people living in Balochistan. The latest update is part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to improve access to public services through digital platforms and reduce the need for in-person visits.
Under the new update, developed in partnership with the Government of Balochistan, residents can now access digital vehicle registration cards for vehicles registered in the province directly through the Pak ID app. The feature allows users to view and manage their vehicle registration documents conveniently from their smartphones.

Another key addition is biometric verification for the sale and purchase of vehicles registered in Balochistan. This service enables buyers and sellers to complete the required identity verification process remotely, eliminating the need to visit a NADRA office or other designated service centres. The digital verification system is expected to make vehicle transactions faster, more secure, and more convenient for citizens.
According to NADRA, these newly introduced services are designed to provide greater ease for the public by allowing users to complete essential vehicle-related tasks from their homes. The authority says the update reflects its broader goal of expanding digital government services across Pakistan.
The latest release follows the introduction of Pak ID version 5.6.6, which brought several new features to the application. One of the most notable additions was the “View Card” option, allowing applicants to preview their National Identity Card before submitting an application. This feature enables users to review their personal information, identify any mistakes, and make corrections before final submission, helping reduce application errors.
Version 5.6.6 also introduced digital civil registration services in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, allowing citizens to register births, deaths, marriages, and divorces through the Pak ID app. The service was initially launched in all village and neighbourhood councils across Peshawar and is planned to expand to other districts of the province in phases.
With each update, NADRA continues to enhance the Pak ID app by introducing more digital services, making government processes easier, faster, and more accessible for citizens across Pakistan.
