The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Population Welfare Department has announced admissions for the Family Welfare Worker (FWW) Training Course, inviting eligible female candidates from across the province to apply.
According to the official advertisement, training will be offered at Regional Training Institutes located in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Malakand/Swat, and Bannu. Applications are open to female candidates holding a valid Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile, and admissions will be made according to the district quota system.
To qualify for the program, applicants must have passed F.Sc (Pre-Medical) and Matric with Science, securing at least 45 percent marks. The training will be conducted on a full-time basis, requiring participants to attend regular sessions throughout the course.
The department has set the age limit between 14 and 35 years, stating that no relaxation beyond the prescribed limit will be granted. The admission process also includes a 5 percent quota for minority candidates and a 2 percent quota for persons with disabilities, ensuring equal opportunities for eligible applicants.
Candidates selected for the Family Welfare Worker training will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 6,000 during the training period. However, the department clarified that no travel allowance (TA) or daily allowance (DA) will be provided to candidates appearing for the entry test or interview.
Interested applicants can submit their applications online through the official admission portal. The advertisement also provides a QR code that allows candidates to directly access the online application form for added convenience.
The last date to apply is July 27, 2026. Applicants have been advised to provide an active WhatsApp number and Gmail address, as all future communication, including test schedules and admission updates, will be shared through these contact details.
The department has warned that incomplete applications or forms submitted after the closing date will not be entertained. Through this Family Welfare Worker training program, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government aims to strengthen community-based healthcare services by preparing qualified female workers to support family welfare and public health initiatives across the province.
