The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has started the public consultation process for the revised and extended layout plan of the New Islamabad Enclave housing project in Zone-5. The authority has directed the developer to invite objections and claims before the proposed plan is considered for approval.
According to an official communication issued by the Directorate of Housing Societies, the CDA is reviewing an application submitted by M/s Earth Developers (Pvt.) Ltd. for the revised layout plan. The proposal covers 999.06 kanals of land located in Mouza Mughal, including Patti Chak Thub and Patti Mughal Khas.
As part of the approval process, the CDA has instructed the developer to publish a public notice in one English and one Urdu national newspaper. The requirement is in accordance with S.R.O. 886(I)/2023, issued on July 7, 2023.
The authority said the notice must include the relevant Khasra numbers along with a certified Aks-Shajra to provide complete information about the land included in the proposed housing scheme.
According to the CDA, the purpose of the public notice is to invite objections, claims, or representations from individuals who may have concerns regarding the land owned or possessed by the developer before any decision is made on the revised and extended layout plan.
Officials said the consultation process is an important part of ensuring transparency and protecting the rights of stakeholders before granting approval for the project. Any affected party will have the opportunity to raise concerns during the public notice period.
The CDA has also provided the prescribed format for the public notice, which the developer must publish to fulfill the next stage of the approval process. The revised layout plan will be reviewed further after the completion of the public consultation process and consideration of any objections received.
The move is part of the authority’s regulatory framework for housing societies in Islamabad, aimed at ensuring that development projects comply with legal requirements before receiving final approval.
