The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) has announced a paid internship program for young graduates and final-year students in Islamabad. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs50,000 while gaining practical experience in a professional working environment.
According to the official advertisement, the internship will be offered at the PPRA office located on the 1st Floor of the FBC Building, near the State Bank of Pakistan, Sector G-5/2, Islamabad. The program will run for two to three months and may be extended based on the intern’s performance and the authority’s requirements.
PPRA said applicants must have completed at least 16 years of education from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized university. Students currently enrolled in the final year or last semester of a 16-year degree program are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who have completed their degree within the last two years can submit applications. The maximum age limit for applicants is 28 years on the closing date for applications.
The internship is open to candidates from a wide range of academic disciplines, including Law, Public Policy, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, and other relevant fields.
According to PPRA, the selection process will be conducted strictly on merit. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications, and only shortlisted applicants will be invited for interviews. The authority also clarified that no TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official PPRA website. Applications must be submitted within 15 days of the publication of the advertisement. PPRA said incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.
The authority also clarified that the internship is purely a learning opportunity and does not guarantee or provide any right to permanent employment with PPRA after completion of the program.
