The CDA has announced a three-day open auction of commercial plots and other prime properties in Islamabad, scheduled to take place on August 4, 5, and 6, 2026. The event will be held at the Jinnah Convention Centre, with bidding beginning daily at 10:00 am.
According to the CDA, the auction will feature a wide range of investment opportunities across some of Islamabad’s most sought-after locations. Properties available for bidding include commercial plots in various Markaz areas, Blue Area, the I&T Center in G-11, and the E-11 Northern Strip. In addition, the authority will auction apartments, luxury apartments, petrol pump sites, agro-farms, and shops located in parking plazas.
To encourage investment, the CDA has introduced several investor-friendly incentives aimed at making the purchasing process more convenient. A dedicated facilitation team will be available to assist participants throughout the auction and post-sale procedures. Buyers will also be able to obtain building plan approval after making an initial payment of 25 percent.
Furthermore, the authority has announced that no site office or marketing office charges will be collected during the approved construction period. Investors can also take possession of their plots after paying 75 percent of the total amount, provided they submit a bank guarantee covering the remaining balance.
The CDA is also offering financial incentives to attract both local and overseas investors. Successful bidders who complete the full payment within one month will receive a five percent rebate on the total amount. An additional five percent discount will be available for payments made in US dollars.
To help prospective buyers prepare for the auction, brochures containing complete details of the available properties and auction terms will be released on July 20, 2026. They can be collected from the One Window Directorate, designated bank branches, or downloaded from the official CDA website.
