PECTA has launched a new teacher training program focused on digital skills and modern education tools. The initiative aims to improve IT knowledge among school teachers across Punjab.

According to officials, 34 master trainers in Lahore will join the first batch. In Islamabad, 32 master trainers will participate in the same phase.
The second phase of the PECTA program will begin from June 9 to June 12. This phase will be conducted in Lahore.
Another group of 34 master trainers will be included in the second batch. They will receive advanced training in digital teaching methods.
PECTA has instructed all district education authorities to ensure full participation. CEOs of education departments have been directed to release selected teachers for training.
Officials said all nominations have already been finalized at district level. The selected teachers will be provided with proper training facilities.
Computer labs and internet access will be available during the workshops. This will help teachers gain practical experience in digital learning tools.
PECTA officials stated that the program is part of broader education reforms. The goal is to modernize teaching methods in public schools.
