Flight operations at Islamabad International Airport are expected to face temporary disruption between May 8 and May 10. The warning was issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) through a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM).
According to the advisory, Flight operations may be affected during specific time windows on all three days. The disruption is due to operational reasons, according to airport authorities.
On May 8, Flight operations may be impacted between 10:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. During this time, arrivals and departures could face delays or adjustments.
On May 9 and May 10, Flight operations are expected to be affected between 8:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Authorities said airlines should plan schedules carefully during these hours.
The Pakistan Airports Authority has informed airlines in advance to reduce passenger inconvenience. Flight schedules may be adjusted depending on operational requirements.
As part of the advisory, airlines have been instructed to carry additional holding fuel. This measure is aimed at managing possible delays during Flight operations at Islamabad airport.
Officials said the steps are part of routine operational planning. They added that safety and air traffic management remain the top priorities.
