Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police to Receive Updated Uniforms

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have decided to revise the uniform design for field operational staff.According to details, the Central Police Office has prepared a draft titled “Uniform Field Operational 2026 Regulations” aimed at updating the dress code for police personnel.

Under the proposed plan, field officers will wear a grey shirt paired with khaki six-pocket trousers and black shoes. For female officers, a black scarf has been added as part of the uniform, while their shirts will be designed to reach the level of the trouser pocket.

The draft also proposes standardising uniform colours, design, badges, and caps across the province. Police personnel from merged districts will also follow the same uniform pattern as other regions.

In addition, all officers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will use a standard black belt and black shoes. However, officials clarified that the changes will not apply to officers working in offices; the revised uniform will only be for field duty personnel.

The proposal will now be forwarded by the Central Police Office to the provincial government for final approval.
