The International Cricket Council (ICC) has awarded Sahibzada Farhan the Player of the Month title in recognition of his outstanding performances in February.
Sahibzada Farhan delivered a remarkable display during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, scoring a record 383 runs in six innings. His impressive tally included two centuries, making him one of the standout performers of the tournament and earning widespread praise from the cricketing world.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi congratulated Sahibzada Farhan on receiving the prestigious award. He described the achievement as a proud moment for Pakistan cricket, emphasizing that it reflects Sahibzada Farhan’s dedication, discipline, and professional approach. Naqvi also expressed hope that he will continue his strong performances in the future.
He further stated that Sahibzada Farhan’s talent and commitment will help him achieve even greater success in his career. According to Naqvi, such accomplishments not only boost the player’s confidence but also bring international recognition to Pakistan cricket.
It is worth mentioning that England’s Will Jacks and USA’s Shadley van Schalkwyk were also nominated for the Player of the Month award. However, Sahibzada Farhan’s exceptional performances set him apart and secured him the honor.
