The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Social Welfare Department has set up redressal committees to address complaints and difficulties faced by beneficiaries of the Ramadan Relief Package 2026.
Officials said individuals experiencing issues with their financial assistance should contact their respective assistant commissioner offices, which will act as the first point of resolution under the guidance of the redressal committee chairperson. Verified cases are then forwarded to the deputy commissioner for correction.
Beneficiaries with incorrect or incomplete CNIC or mobile number details are advised to approach the relevant assistant commissioner for verification and correction. Authorities clarified that payments cannot be processed for blocked CNICs, and such funds will be returned to the Director of Social Welfare.
For elderly or disabled beneficiaries encountering fingerprint verification problems, a certificate from the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) confirming the biometric issue, along with a Family Registration Certificate (FRC), must be submitted to the assistant commissioner’s office. Payments can then be transferred to a close relative.
In the event of a registered beneficiary’s death, family members must submit a death certificate and an application to the assistant commissioner’s office. Following verification, payments will be released to a close relative as per the NADRA-issued FRC.
Authorities have urged all beneficiaries facing issues to contact their assistant commissioner offices promptly to ensure timely resolution of concerns regarding the 2026 Ramadan Relief Package.
