The Government of Sindh has announced a revised timetable for the upcoming board examinations of Classes 9 and 10 across the province.
Under the updated schedule, Class 10 exams will now commence on April 7, while Class 9 exams will begin on April 8. The changes apply to all educational boards operating in Sindh.
The revision follows a directive from the Universities and Boards Department instructing boards not to hold examinations during Holy Week and Easter. Authorities had earlier ordered that no exams be scheduled between April 2 and April 6.
As a result, boards amended previously issued timetables to comply with the new instructions. The annual matriculation examinations had originally been scheduled to start on March 31.
Officials stressed that the revised schedule ensures students and staff can observe religious holidays while maintaining the integrity and smooth conduct of the exams.
Students are advised to check with their respective boards for updated exam timings and subject-wise schedules to avoid confusion.
