[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]RAWALPINDI: According to an Inter-Services Public Relations statement, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir visited forward areas along the Line of Control (LOC) on Thursday (ISPR).
General Munir was briefed on the security situation as well as the operational readiness of the deployed formations.
He also spoke with officers and troops stationed in the front lines.
The COAS urged troops to provide all-out support to the local population, to remain steadfast, and to carry out their duties with the utmost sincerity and devotion, according to the ISPR.
He praised the officers and soldiers for their unwavering vigilance, exceptional operational preparedness, and high morale.

He also stated that the Pakistan Army is determined to defend Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity against all threats, as well as to support the just cause of Kashmiris and seek a resolution of Jammu and Kashmir in accordance with UN resolutions.
COAS was greeted by the Corps Commander Rawalpindi Corps upon his arrival at LOC.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
