Get your M-Tag Quickly in Islamabad within Minutes

Getting an M-Tag in Islamabad has been made much easier as authorities intensify efforts to ensure full compliance before the latest deadline. With fewer than 15 days remaining until the extended cut-off expires, motorists in the capital are being strongly advised to complete the process without delay to avoid last-minute rush and congestion at toll plazas.

Officials have streamlined the M-Tag registration procedure to make it quick and hassle-free. To apply, vehicle owners are required to bring only two essential documents: the vehicle’s registration card or book and the original CNIC of the owner. No additional paperwork, application forms, or multiple photocopies are needed. As long as both documents are valid and available, the M-Tag is typically issued on the spot.

Authorities have emphasized that motorists who arrive fully prepared with these two documents are usually processed within minutes. However, drivers who fail to bring either the vehicle registration or CNIC are often asked to return, causing unnecessary delays. Citizens are therefore encouraged to double-check their documents before visiting a registration center.

To facilitate residents, One Network has established 15 M-Tag registration centers across Islamabad. These centers are strategically located to provide easy access for motorists from different areas of the city, allowing them to choose the most convenient location based on their daily commute or residence.

Officials have once again urged motorists not to wait until the final days, as increased crowds could lead to longer waiting times. Completing the M-Tag registration in advance will help ensure smooth travel on motorways and toll roads without disruption.
