60 Orchards in Gilgit Approved for Cherry Exports

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) has granted approval for sixty additional orchards from Gilgit-Baltistan to export cherries to China, as stated by Commercial Counsellor Ghulam Qadir at the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing.

This approval holds significant potential for the agricultural sector in Gilgit Baltistan, where cherry cultivation is prominent.

The endorsement by Chinese customs indicates that Pakistani cherries meet the required standards for export, creating new trade opportunities and showcasing the quality of Pakistani cherries in the international market.

This collaboration between China and Pakistan in promoting agricultural exports strengthens bilateral ties and boosts economic growth. Several cold storage and packing facilities are also approved for cherry exports to China.
