18 Soldiers Martyred in Balochistan During Terrorist Attack

In a brave and selfless act of valor, 18 Pakistani soldiers have embraced martyrdom while successfully foiling a terrorist attack in the Mangocher area of Kalat district, Balochistan, during the night of January 31 and February 1. The terrorists, acting on orders from “inimical and hostile forces,” attempted to establish illegal roadblocks in an effort to disrupt the peace and stability of the region and target innocent civilians.

Security sources confirmed that law enforcement agencies and security forces acted quickly, launching a counter-operation that neutralized the threat. The forces killed 12 terrorists and ensured the safety of the local population. The martyrdom of the soldiers, described as an ultimate sacrifice in the protection of their fellow citizens, has deeply moved the nation.

After the operation, security forces carried out sanitization operations in the area, aiming to capture the remaining perpetrators, facilitators, and abettors involved in the attack.
