117 Pakistani athletes will compete in the Special Olympics 2023 in Berlin.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]A star-studded Pakistani contingent is preparing to make their mark at the forthcoming Special Olympics 2023, which will be held in Berlin, Germany, from June 17 to 25, 2023.

According to statistics, a 147-member Pakistani contingent, comprised of 117 athletes and 30 coaches, is ready to face the challenge in various games at the tournament.

The Sindh province government threw a banquet in Karachi today to commemorate the occasion and wish the national athletes success for the approaching major event.

Renowned athletes, coaching staff, parents, and other dignitaries attended the ceremony and were wished luck by Special Olympics Pakistan Chairman Ronaq Lakhani.

Lakhani expressed gratitude to the Sindh government for its constant support of the athletes and expressed confidence that the national players will perform brilliantly.

“We are very excited to see what they achieve in Special Olympics.” “It is a fantastic opportunity for all of the athletes to hoist the Pakistan flag at the international level,” he remarked.

Ronaq Lakhani went on to say that the province government’s much-needed assistance was important in assuring the athletes’ participation in the tournament.

Tennis, table tennis, basketball, futsal, cycling, boche, athletics, badminton, powerlifting, hockey and swimming are among the 11 activities in which Pakistani competitors will compete.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
