Zimbabwe has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 Tri-Nation Series in Pakistan, scheduled from November 17 to 29 in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
The side will be led by Sikandar Raza, with experienced players Ryan Burl, Wellington Masakadza, and former captain Brendan Taylor providing stability. Fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani misses out due to a back injury, replaced by Newman Nyamhuri.
Raza has impressed Pakistani fans with his all-round performances for Lahore Qalandars in the PSL, famously hitting the winning runs in the PSL 10 final in 2025 after arriving from a demanding Test match in England.
Zimbabwe will open the series against Pakistan on November 17 at Rawalpindi Stadium, face Sri Lanka on November 19, return to Rawalpindi on November 23 versus Pakistan, and meet Sri Lanka again on November 25. The final is set for November 29 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
Originally not in the tournament, Zimbabwe joined following Afghanistan’s withdrawal, giving the team a chance to test its depth ahead of the next T20 World Cup. Training sessions and intra-squad matches are planned upon arrival to adjust to local conditions.
Zimbabwe Squad: Sikandar Raza (C), Brian Bennett, Ryan Burl, Graeme Cremer, Bradley Evans, Clive Madande, Tinotenda Maposa, Wellington Masakadza, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Tony Munyonga, T. Musekiwa, Dion Myers, Richard Ngarava, Newman Nyamhuri, Brendan Taylor
