Zardari and Shehbaz Congratulate Pakistan Blind Cricket Team on T20 WC Victory

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have both congratulated the Pakistan Blind Cricket Team for their historic win at the Fourth Blind T20 World Cup. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the team for their exceptional performance throughout the tournament, noting that their victory on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities has brought international recognition to Pakistan. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting sports at all levels, with a particular focus on providing facilities for special athletes.

Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, also extended his congratulations to the team, acknowledging their remarkable triumph in the T20 World Cup final in Multan. Naqvi highlighted the stellar performances of Captain Nisar Ali and Muhammad Safdar in the final, which helped secure Pakistan’s victory over Bangladesh. He commended both the players and the management for their dedication and teamwork, which played a vital role in winning the prestigious title.

Naqvi expressed hope that the Blind Cricket Team would continue to achieve even greater success in the future, with the same dedication and passion they demonstrated throughout the tournament.
