Legendary cricketer Zaheer Abbas, celebrated as a Pakistan cricket icon, has joined the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Governing Board.
A PCB spokesperson stated that the “Asian Bradman” was nominated by the State Bank, replacing Meraj Mahmood. No new additions were made to the 12-member board, which includes the PCB chairman.

Zaheer Abbas, who reached numerous milestones in his career, previously served as President of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
He was the first Pakistani to score 5,000 Test runs, with 12 centuries in Tests and 7 in ODIs.
Notably, he remains the only Asian cricketer to score 100 centuries in first-class cricket and was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame in 2020.
