The auto-dubbing tool, previously known as “Aloud,” will soon support more languages beyond the initial Spanish and Portuguese, including French and Italian. Creators will have their videos automatically dubbed upon upload, although they can opt out if desired.

Originally introduced in 2022 as part of a Google translation experiment, the Aloud tool integrates text and audio translation, a process that has required careful development. YouTube aims to enhance its global appeal, enabling creators to connect with diverse audiences and unlock new segments in various markets.

The rollout of this expanded feature is expected in the coming months.
