KASUR – A young woman from Sheikhupura was allegedly gang-raped by three individuals in Kasur under the false pretext of a job offer.
According to reports, a suspect named Liaquat Ali deceived the victim by promising employment and asked her to come to the Kahna area. Upon her arrival, he took her to a house in Lohay Jatta, within the jurisdiction of Kanganpur police station, where he and two accomplices sexually assaulted her before fleeing the scene.

The victim later approached the police and reported the incident, leading to the registration of a case against the three suspects. However, no arrests have been made so far.
A similar incident occurred last month in Rawalpindi’s New Town area, where a woman was lured into a trap and assaulted by two men. According to the FIR, one of her former colleagues promised her a job and invited her to a location at Naseem Plaza on Double Road. Upon arrival, she was held at gunpoint and sexually assaulted by two men.
The victim, a mother of three who is currently separated from her husband and residing with her parents, was not only subjected to the horrific crime but also filmed by the perpetrators. A case has been registered under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), and investigations are ongoing.
