Dr. Niazi emphasized that all types of vehicular traffic will be blocked, leading to widespread traffic jams and serious inconvenience for commuters and emergency services.
Doctors Demand Reversal of Hospital Outsourcing Plan
The YDA has been protesting for over 18 consecutive days against the Punjab government’s decision to outsource public hospitals. With little response from authorities, the association is now implementing what it calls “Plan B”—disrupting urban mobility to draw attention to their demands.
Dr. Niazi also warned that any police intervention or force will trigger a complete shutdown of government hospitals across the province, bringing medical services to a halt.
Public Advisory
Lahore residents are advised to:
- Avoid traveling through affected roads, especially during peak hours.
- Use alternative routes or public transportation where available.
- Stay updated via local traffic authorities and social media platforms.
