Xulfi, a renowned Pakistani singer-songwriter and producer known for his work on Coke Studio, recently took to Instagram to express his deep admiration for fellow artist Hasan Raheem. Xulfi’s heartfelt post was dedicated to Hasan Raheem’s performance in the new Coke Studio Season 15 song “Turri Jandi,” where Raheem sang alongside Shazia Manzoor. In his tribute, Xulfi shared a clip from the music video and praised Raheem’s unique artistry, highlighting his impact on their collaborative work.
“In my almost three decades of making or performing music, I’ve been blessed with my paths crossing with so many wonderful artists. I’m grateful for them for various reasons. For you, I’m grateful for an interesting reason. You initiate a curiosity in me,” Xulfi began, acknowledging the special connection he feels with Raheem’s creative spirit.
Xulfi continued to delve into what makes Hasan Raheem stand out in the music industry: “You’re intriguing. With the way you talk, the way you write, your choice of words, your melody sense, your expression, it is such a unique signature. There’s no one like you. That’s for sure.”

The Coke Studio veteran went on to commend Raheem’s significant contribution to “Turri Jandi,” a song they co-wrote and produced together. He expressed, “Turri Jandi is one of those stories that I’ll never forget we told the world. And this story couldn’t have been told without you. Your lyricism, your singing style, your aura and now you’re acting as well… It’s heartfelt and soulful.”
Reflecting on a past memory that gave him insight into Raheem’s uniqueness, Xulfi recalled, “I remember going through a post a few years back where you were practicing boxing or a similar sport. Noticed you had a moustache then. I realized that suddenly it feels you’re not of this time… Somehow you are but you are also not. Somehow some of my curiosity about you was answered then of why you’re so unique. And at that point, I made up my mind about you in the Turri world.”
In conclusion, Xulfi emphasized the profound impact Hasan Raheem has had on the music world: “Today, you’ve made the world or rather worlds your own, and I’m ecstatic about that. Will never forget our songwriting sessions for this. It took us time, but it was worth it.”
Hasan Raheem, moved by Xulfi’s praise, responded in the comments section, “Thank you, this means a lot.”
The exchange on Instagram highlights the deep respect and admiration between two talented musicians, celebrating their collaboration and the artistic journey they have shared together.
