Xiaomi has recently launched its latest flagship pair in China, known as the 14 and 14 Pro. These devices are among the first to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and they come with Xiaomi’s redesigned HyperOS instead of the traditional MIUI.
Xiaomi 14 Pro:
The Xiaomi 14 Pro has departed from the curved edges of its predecessor, opting for a flat metal frame with a glossy, reflective surface. It features a symmetrical design with glass panels that gently taper towards the edges. The camera module is situated on a metal bezel with a Parisian hobnail texture.

As the larger variant, the Xiaomi 14 Pro boasts a substantial 6.73-inch 2K 12-bit LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Notably, this panel can reach an impressive brightness of 3,000 nits and is protected by Xiaomi Longjing Glass.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, manufactured using TSMC’s advanced 4 nm process. It offers configurations with 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB using UFS 4.0 technology.
Xiaomi has introduced a new sensor called the “Light Hunter 900″ paired with a custom Leica Summilux lens. This sensor is 50MP with a 1/1.31” size and 1.2 μm pixel dimensions, providing an impressive dynamic range of 13.5 EV. The camera setup also includes a 75 mm f/2.0 telephoto lens and a 50 MP f/2.2 14 mm ultrawide camera. The selfie shooter is a 32MP wide-angle camera.
The device is equipped with a 4,880 mAh battery supporting 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The Xiaomi 14 Pro is available in various memory configurations, with prices ranging from €650 to €780.
Xiaomi 14:
The regular Xiaomi 14 remains a compact flagship and comes in two finishes: a glass variant and a nano-leather model. It features a 6.36-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
It is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and offers 8 GB, 12 GB, or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, with storage options ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB.
The camera setup is similar to the Xiaomi 14 Pro, but with slight differences. The 50MP primary camera shares the same “Light Hunter” sensor, and the device is equipped with a 4,610 mAh battery supporting 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The Xiaomi 14 is available for pre-order in China, with prices starting from €520.
In essence, Xiaomi’s new flagship devices come with impressive specifications and design changes, showcasing the brand’s continued commitment to innovation.
