WWE legend and Hollywood star John Cena opened up about his marriage to Shay Shariatzadeh during a rare public comment at the Amazon Upfront red carpet event in New York on May 12. The 48-year-old actor, known for his wrestling career and recent roles in films, was at the event to promote his upcoming action-comedy film Heads of State, which is set to release on June 2.
Speaking to E! News, Cena shared a glimpse into his relationship with Shariatzadeh, whom he married in a private ceremony on October 12, 2020. He revealed how they make the most of public events, saying, “We try to make a date out of all these things. She’s here and we’re going to have some fun,” smiling as he spoke.

We’ve got great stunts, great action pieces.”
