Xiaomi is moving ahead with the launch of its much-anticipated SU7 Ultra, a high-performance electric sedan that has already turned heads for its record-breaking speed. Touted as the fastest four-door sedan, the SU7 Ultra recently set a new record on the Nürburgring track. After being available for pre-sale since October 2024, the model is now open for configuration and orders, marking a key milestone in Xiaomi’s entry into the automotive market.

Pricing and Performance:
The SU7 Ultra is offered in multiple configurations, with the base model priced at RMB 529,900 (around $73,000) and the top-tier version at RMB 814,900 (approximately $112,000). The premium variant is particularly notable for its impressive performance, delivering 1,526 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds, placing it among the fastest electric sedans globally. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with CATL’s Qilin 2.0 battery, which has a capacity of 93.7 kWh and provides a range of up to 620 km on a single charge, combining power with efficiency.
Demand and Deliveries:
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun revealed that the company has already received over 6,900 new orders for the SU7 Ultra, excluding those from the pre-sale phase. In response to this strong demand, Xiaomi plans to begin delivering 10,000 units in April. Moreover, the entire SU7 series has exceeded initial expectations, having shipped more than 150,000 units so far, and the company is now aiming to sell 300,000 units in 2025, further cementing its growing presence in the EV market.
