Saudia to give visa upon plane ticket.

According to reports, Saudi Arabia is planning to launch a new programme in which visas will be provided upon the purchase of airline tickets. According to local Saudi media, Saudia, the national airline, is introducing a service that will permit travellers with tickets from the airline to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The vague information confirms that the stay would only last for a maximum of four days (or 96 hours). The program’s most intriguing feature is that the traveller would be able to use this time to undertake the Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom.

According to a spokesperson for the airline, customers would be questioned about the need for a visa when purchasing tickets online. Details show that the service will be available at all domestic and international airports in the nation. If they indicate that they need a visa, they will be prompted to fill out a form and complete some procedures, which will take less than 5 minutes.
