Woman Tortured and Left with Broken Legs by Husband and In-Laws in Muzaffargarh
MUZAFFARGARH – A woman in the Jatoi police jurisdiction was severely tortured by her husband, father-in-law, and other relatives on Sunday, allegedly for her “suspicious character.” The brutal attack left the woman with broken legs.
The injured woman was promptly transferred to a hospital with the assistance of Rescue 1122. Doctors confirmed that her condition is stable, and her health is no longer in danger, according to a police spokesperson.
Despite the family’s reluctance to take action, the Jatoi police took the initiative, registering a case and launching raids to arrest the suspects involved in the assault.

Regional Police Officer, retired Captain Sajjad Hassan, expressed concern over the incident and called for a detailed report along with the immediate arrest of the accused.
District Police Officer, Dr Mohammad Rizwan, confirmed that the victim, Nasreen Mai, the wife of Ajmal Hussain, was subjected to the violence due to alleged suspicions about her character. A case has been registered against the accused – Ajmal, Ijaz, Ashiq, and Manzoor Hussain – under Sections 324, 148, and 149.
The police are actively pursuing the suspects to ensure justice for the victim.
